RUNNING FOR CHARITY
We encourage you to use your running as a way of supporting great causes and contributing to the local community. There are a number of ways you can do this:

1. If you’d like to receive helpful fundraising information, or you’d be interested in running the Vitality Reading Half Marathon for our official charity, Cancer Research UK, please select the box below and they’ll be in touch.
Cancer Research UK – Let's beat cancer sooner.

2. Make a one off donation to our official race charity, Cancer Research UK now
£10.00    £15.00    £20.00    Other  £

Gift Aid. I am a UK tax payer and want the charity I have chosen to treat all qualifying donations over the last four years, today, and in the future, as Gift Aid donations
I confirm I have paid or will pay an amount of Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax for each tax year (6 April to 5 April) that is at least equal to the amount of tax that all the charities or Community Amateur Sports Clubs (CASCs) that I donate to will reclaim on my gifts for that tax year. I understand that other taxes such as VAT and Council Tax do not qualify. I understand that Scope will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 that I have given on or after 6 April 2008.

RACE DECLARATION

Entrants to the Reading Half Marathon must be over the age of 17 on the day of the race. Taking part in a half marathon is a very rewarding experience, however it is not to be undertaken lightly. You need to be physically fit to complete the distance. If in doubt consult your doctor. Do not take part if you are feeling unwell. I agree to abide by the rules of UK Athletics and the event. I understand that I enter the race at my own risk and that no person(s) or organisation(s) will be held responsible for any accident, injury or loss to myself, prior to, during or after the event. I understand the organisers reserve the right to delay, postpone, cancel, or not officially time the race in the event of adverse weather conditions or other events outside the organisers' control. The determination of what constitutes this is reserved solely by Brasher Leisure Limited T/A Sweatshop.

Entry fees are non-refundable, non-deferrable and non-transferable, even in the case of event cancellation. Photographs of the race will be taken for publicity purposes. I understand that my image may be used and give permission freely for it to be used.

Overseas competitors should contact the Race HQ to notify them of a UK forwarding address or their race packs will be held to be collected from the Race Help Desk on Race Day.

I’m happy to be contacted by email regarding carefully selected events, products and services that Brasher Leisure T/A Sweatshop think would be of interest to me.

We will not provide your data to any third parties.
